Michael Starcher
Partner
Michael Starcher has served as President of Clearview Investments, Ltd. since 2001 and simultaneously as the Trustee for the Crown Hill Trusts until 2013. He remains President of Clearview Investments and continues to be actively involved in the management of CHT entities. Over his career he has managed and participated in well over one hundred transactions in real estate, oil and gas, operating companies, significant positions in publicly traded stocks and bonds, as well as private equity investments totaling over $1.3 billion in value, with current AUM of $500+ million.
Prior to accepting his role as President/Trustee in 2001, he focused on restructuring privately held companies. He began his career in public accounting in Dallas, Texas, and holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University.
Cody Donnan
Partner
Cody Donnan has focused on investing capital for himself and his partners since 2016, and since then has successfully founded, operated, and exited several companies in the oil and gas space. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Mount Kellett Capital, where he provided strategic direction and oversight to a 70+ FTE global team to manage an alternative investment portfolio with committed capital in excess of $7 billion. Mr. Donnan was also a member of Mount Kellett’s Investment and Firm Management committees. Prior to joining Mount Kellett, he was a director at Goldman Sachs/Archon Group with various acquisition, portfolio management, and capital markets positions in the U.S. and Asia. He holds a BBA and Masters of Science in Economics from Baylor University.
W. Farley Dakan

Farley has served as the President of Contango Oil and Gas since October 2019. At Contango, he is responsible for the integration of Contango’s acquisitions, as well as the identification, evaluation, financing, and integration of future acquisitions as part of the company’s consolidation strategy. Farley has extensive experience in management, advisory, and board roles with both private and public companies in a number of industries.
Prior to joining Contango, Farley was the founder, owner, and CEO of Will Energy Corporation, which sold its portfolio of oil and gas assets to Contango. Before founding Will Energy Corporation, Farley held advisory and management roles in support of clients such as Wells Fargo, Fortress Investment Group, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and numerous other firms and corporations. Farley began his career with a predecessor firm of Ernst & Young and graduated with a BBA in Finance from Baylor University.
Corky Nix
Partner
Corky has held various positions at Clearview Investments, Ltd. Since 2001, and brings over 25 years of real estate experience in sourcing, financing, and redeveloping opportunistic real estate deals. He has participated in well over $1 billion of real estate transactions including retail, redevelopment, raw land, wind energy projects, sale / leasebacks, and build-to-suits.
Before joining Clearview in 2001, Corky was Vice President at Southtrust Real Estate, specializing in financing hotels and commercial real estate. He holds both a BBA in Real Estate Finance and a MBA in Finance from Texas Tech University.
